Event Description:
Regional screening levels (RSLs), regional removal management levels (RMLs), vapor intrusion screening levels (VISLs), radionuclide preliminary remediation goals for radionuclides (PRGs), radionuclide dose compliance calculators (DCCs), radon vapor intrusion screening levels (RVISLs), the risk assessment information system (RAIS) suite of tools, and many more radionuclide calculators are presented in detail. While the primary focus is on the use of the calculators, related topics of human health risk assessment, U.S. EPA guidance, cancer risk, noncancer hazard index, exposure assessment, toxicity assessment, and risk characterization are covered.

Enrollment is open to US citizens only and closes on September 1, 2026. Maximum number of participants is 25.
 
Requirements:
Bring your laptop! This is a hands-on course, and participants will be following the instructors click for click. Don't forget your charger. Instructors will present all calculators using Chrome, so make sure Chrome is available on your laptop. Not required, but useful would be spreadsheet software and a PDF viewer. Wi-Fi will be provided.

Please note: The University of Tennessee Conferences and Non-Credit Programs is responsible for processing all registration fees for this event.

Please do not use a procurement card for your registration fee. If you will be asking for a UT reimbursement for this meeting, please do not register with a personal credit card, register with a departmental account to avoid additional processing fees. For any credit card refunds processed due to not paying with a departmental account number, there will be a 6% credit card processing fee based on the sale amount.  The 6% fee will be withheld from the refund to the card used.

Questions/Refunds/Cancellation Policy:
No fee for cancellations before August 21, 2026.  After this date there will be a 20% fee for cancellations. If the class is cancelled due to low registration, a full refund will be issued.
