Thank you for your interest in the UTGSM course Eleventh Annual Stroke Symposium to be held at the UT Conference Center, Knoxville, Tennessee.

Conference Attire
We encourage you to be comfortable as we spend a day at this quality education experience. Business casual attire and a light sweater or jacket are suggested.

Parking
Free parking is available at the Locust Street garage. No other parking will be validated.

Registration Completion and Payment
Registration is complete and a seat will be reserved for you only when payment is received. Once payment is received, a seat will be reserved for you at this educational conference, and you will receive registration confirmation by e-mail from UT Conferences.

Please note: The University of Tennessee Conferences and Non-Credit Programs is responsible for processing all registration fees for this event.

NOTE: University of Tennessee employees should register online and check-out of the site with a balance due.  Please send the departmental account number we should charge to email: Conferences@utk.edu.  Our office will initiate the payment. 

Please do not use a procurement card for your registration fee. If you will be asking for a UT reimbursement for this meeting, please do not register with a personal credit card, register with a departmental account to avoid additional processing fees.  For any credit card refunds processed due to not paying with a departmental account number there will be a 6% credit card processing fee based on the sale amount.  The 6% fee will be withheld from the refund to the card used. 

Cancellations
To qualify for a refund on conference registration fees, send a written request by October 9, 2019, to UT Conferences, ATTN: Stroke Symposium, P.O. Box 2648, Knoxville, TN 37901-2648, or to Conferences@utk.edu. An administrative fee of $50 will be assessed. No-shows and late cancellations will not be refunded; however, substitutions are encouraged.

Weather Policy
If inclement weather forces the cancellation of the educational activity, refunds of conference registration fees will be made to all registered attendees. Refunds cannot be made to individual registrants due to weather-related transportation issues. All registered attendees will be notified of weather cancellation via an e-mail from UT Conferences up to one day before the conference.

Confirmations

Professional Designation

We are pleased to announce that the University of Tennessee College of Medicine (UTCOM) is collaborating with the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners to launch a voluntary, year-long pilot program that will enable UTCOM to report physician participation in CME directly to the Board via a partnership with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). This will simplify the process for physicians, who will not have to report their participation to the board themselves. Whether you choose to participate or not, you will still be able to log into the UTCOM credit tracking system to claim your credit.
