Decarbonization Bootcamp: November 4 (Tue) - 7 (Fri), 2025

 


Registration Fee:
General registration is $215 for this bootcamp. Completing this online form will register you for the Better Plants Decarbonization Bootcamp.

Workshop Overview:
The U.S. Department of Energy’s Better Plants Program and Oak Ridge National Laboratory are offering Better Plants Bootcamps to drive decarbonization and strengthen energy management practices within US companies.  The Bootcamps were created to educate attendees on the key aspects of industrial decarbonization and energy efficiency.  The events offer participants opportunities for extensive, hands-on learning, networking with peers, and interactive sessions with leading experts. Attendees will also learn about how to use diagnostic equipment along with DOE’s free software tools for identifying energy and carbon savings opportunities and quantifying cost savings. The number of participants for this bootcamp is limited to 65, so please register as soon as possible!

 

The Better Plants Decarbonization Bootcamp, taking place on November 4 – 7, 2025, will cover topics including: GHG accounting, renewable energy, low/no-carbon fuels, electrification, carbon capture and storage, and decarbonization roadmap development.  Specifically, participants will learn:

 

  • How to perform carbon emission baselining, benchmarking and assessment
  • How to develop a successful decarbonization roadmap
  • Fundamentals of renewable energy and low-/no-carbon fuel types
  • Strategies for electrification
  • The latest trends for key decarbonization technologies

 

Payments Accepted:
Registration payment is by credit card, only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. An email confirmation will be sent upon completion of this form.

International Attendees:

Attendees traveling to the conference from outside of the US may be required to obtain a business visa. For more information about visa requirements, visit the US Department of State website: at Travel.State.Gov. It is highly recommended that attendees begin making travel plans as early as possible in order to allow sufficient time to complete the visa application process. According to the US Department of State, visa applications should be made no later than 90 days in advance of travel.
