Appalachian Carbon Forum

Forum Description:
This two-day forum is the continuation of a multi-year series of meetings that brings together a diverse range of thought leaders and innovators to identify and develop energy solutions for the Appalachia region. This will be accomplished through the efficient and responsible use of Appalachian resources to provide safe, secure and reliable energy and infrastructure while building and maintaining a strong workforce for the region. This forum features discussions on the representative needs, challenges, and opportunities unique to the area–with invitees from local communities, private industry, national laboratories, academia, and government located along the Appalachian Mountains.

The registration fee is $300.

Registration for non-US citizens closes on January 1, 2027.

Please note that processing non-U.S. citizens can take up to 45 business days. Registration does not guarantee that you will be able to attend, and we will keep all non-U.S. citizens updated during this process.

Registration for U.S. citizens closes on February 8, 2027.

Payments Accepted:
The University of Tennessee Conferences and Non-Credit Programs will process all registration fees for this event. You can register for the meeting by using a credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. A detailed email confirmation will be sent upon completion of this form.

FOR UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE EMPLOYEES ONLY: University of Tennessee employees should register online and check-out of the site with a balance due. Please send the departmental account number email: Conferences@utk.edu. Our office will initiate the payment. Please do not use a procurement card for your registration fee. If you will be asking for a UT reimbursement for this meeting, please do not register with a personal credit card, register with a departmental account to avoid additional processing fees. For any credit card refunds processed due to not paying with a departmental account number there will be a 6% credit card processing fee based on the sale amount. The 6% fee will be withheld from the refund to the card used.

Cancellations/Refunds:
Refunds will not be issued, unless there are extreme circumstances, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If a refund is issued, a cancellation fee of $50 will be applied.
