Learning Objectives for 2023
At the the conclusion of this program, the participant should be able to:

  • Review the scope and impact of the opioid crisis in East Tennessee
  • Identify ways to apply the state and national guidelines that govern opioid prescribing and chronic pain treatment
  • Identify and address provider and patient barriers to access for targeted pain treatment therapies for patients with acute and chronic pain
  • Summarize the appropriate application of specific targeted pain treatment therapies that address the cause of chronic pain and how these treatments improve function and quality of life for patients.

General Exhibitor Notes:

  • Exhibit tables will be positioned in an area directly outside of the conference general session meeting room. Due to space constraints the number of vendors will be limited
  • Exhibit space will consist of one six-foot draped table with the option of electricity.
  • Breakfast and beverages will be served in this area.
  • Participants will have access to the exhibit area throughout the duration of the conference.
  • Your company name will be included and announced in the list of exhibitors and/or supporters.
  • Setup time will be the morning of March 31, 2023.  NO EARLY ENTRY WILL BE ALLOWED.

Please Note: Pursuant to Section 6002 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the National Physicians Payment Transparency Program, codified at 42 CFR Parts 402 and 403, was created (the "Sunshine Act"), UTGSM has enacted the following policies with regards to exhibitors at ACCME-certified activities:

  • No commercial support will be used for food or beverages for attendees (food and beverages are paid for only by registration fees). No exhibitors can provide gifts of any value.

 

 

Three levels of partnership are available:

 

Platinum- $2,250 (max 4 exhibitors)

  • NOTE: Payment must be received by March 3, 2023 in order to avoid the increase to $2,500
  • One six-foot draped table
  • Table will be in the center of the main exhibit space outside general session
  • Two complimentary registrations which includes access to all educational sessions
    • Additional reps may be added for $100 each
    • Reps wishing to receive CE credit must register for the conference as a participant
  • Complimentary attendance for two at breakfast, breaks, and lunch
  • Recognition at the conference as platinum level supporter.

  

Gold- $1,750 (max 6 exhibitors)

  • NOTE: Payment must be received by March 3, 2023 in order to avoid the increase to $2,000
  • One six-foot draped table
  • Table will be in the main exhibit hall outside general session
  • Two complimentary registrations which includes access to all educational sessions on
    • Additional reps may be added for $100 each
    • Reps wishing to receive CE credit must register for the conference as a participant
  • Complimentary attendance for two at breakfast, breaks, and lunch
  • Recognition at the conference as gold level supporter.

 

Silver- $1,250 (max 8 exhibitors)

  • NOTE: Payment must be received by March 3, 2023 in order to avoid the increase to $1,500
  • One six-foot draped table
  • Table will be in the main exhibit hall along the windows
  • One complimentary registration which includes access to all educational sessions
    • Additional reps may be added for $100 each
    • Reps wishing to receive CE credit must register for the conference as a participant
  • Complimentary attendance at breakfast, breaks, and lunch
  • Recognition at the conference as silver level supporter

 

Cancellation Policy:
All requests for cancellation of exhibit space must be received in writing. If UTGSM receives a written request for cancellation of space prior to March 3, 2023, the exhibitor will be refunded less a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be made after March 3, 2023.

Weather Policy
If inclement weather forces the cancellation of the educational activity, refunds of exhibit fees will be made to all exhibitors. Refunds cannot be made due to weather-related transportation issues. All exhibitors will be notified of weather cancellation via an e-mail from UT Conferences up to one day before the conference. Registration Completion and Payment
Registration is complete only when a payment is received. Once payment is received, a booth will be reserved for you at this educational conference, and you will receive registration confirmation by e-mail from UT Conferences

University of Tennessee Employees Only:
Please note: The University of Tennessee Conferences and Non-Credit Programs is responsible for processing all registration fees for this event.
NOTE: University of Tennessee employees should register online and check-out of the site with a balance due. Please send the departmental account number we should charge to email: Conferences@utk.edu.  Our office will initiate the payment.
Please do not use a procurement card for your registration fee. If you will be asking for a UT reimbursement for this meeting, please do not register with a personal credit card, register with a departmental account to avoid additional processing fees. For any credit card refunds processed due to not paying with a departmental account number there will be a 6% credit card processing fee based on the sale amount. The 6% fee will be withheld from the refund to the card used.
