This symposium will provide the latest information regarding clinical presentation, exam findings, diagnostic tests, pharmacotherapy and non-pharmacological management of Alzheimer’s and other age-related dementias. The knowledge acquired during this activity will improve the participant's ability to accurately diagnose and treat these conditions and provide the tools to better support patients and caregivers. It will feature a diverse group of guest speakers and members of The Pat Summitt Clinic multidisciplinary team. The symposium will feature a Research Preconference, posters, and exhibits. Additionally, there is a call for abstracts for the poster exhibit portion that will be part of the Research Preconference.
The Pat Summitt Clinic currently serves over 5,600 people living with dementia and their families by providing a multi-disciplinary team approach to care, educational programs, resources, and access to the latest research worldwide. The Pat Summitt Clinic was formed through a collaboration between The University of Tennessee Medical Center and The Pat Summitt Foundation, a fund of the East Tennessee Foundation.

Keynote Presenter Maria Luisa Gorno- Tempini
Maria Luisa Gorno Tempini, MD, PhD, is a clinician scientist and the Charles Schwab Distinguished Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco. She has made significant contributions to the understanding of Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA), Frontotemporal Dementia and related neurodegenerative diseases. Her innovative work has led to the international clinical criteria for PPA and improved diagnostic methods, enabling better patient care and participation in clinical trials.
Opening Remarks - Kimberly Williams-Paisley
This year's symposium will also feature a special appearance and commentary by Kimberly Williams-Paisley, actress and New York Times Best Selling Author of Where the Light Gets In.

This is an IN-PERSON only event. Conference registration cancellations made 30 days prior to the event are subject to a $50 administrative fee.
